Renée Hunt
I have always had an artistic inclination, and began drawing at a very young age. My love for art soon progressed into a love for photography, because of the “realism” of the images captured on film in comparison to those I created from my imagination. As soon as I was old enough to understand simple cameras, I began snapping pictures of any and every thing I could.
From early on, capturing the beauty of nature has been a passion of mine. I am a strong believer that the only thing you should take out of nature is a photograph and a memory. It is the desire to capture the beauty that I see in person in a manner that makes the viewer feel as though they were there themselves. There is artwork all around us, and I strive to produce images that are not only attractive, but also inspiring.
In addition to my adoration of nature's bountiful glory, I believe that, through my photography, my love for animals is truly apparent. The camera gives me the opportunity to use my artistic talents to illustrate their unique personalities, capturing cherished memories for years to come. I have always had animals of my own, and currently share my heart with Rosco, a Lab/Mastiff mix, my crazy cat Mr. Belvedere, and four purebred Arabian horses. They are my world, and I know that many animal lovers feel the same way about their fur-babies.
I feel that my connection to my own animals gives me an ability to connect to other animals I am photographing, and I will always take the time to get to know your furry friend before beginning our session. Years of experience photographing animals as an amateur have given me the opportunity to learn the camera angles that best portray your animals in a manner that is not only flattering, but also gives an accurate depiction of their conformation; which is an important aspect whether you are advertising your animal for sale or at stud, or simply want to show off your companion at their best to friends and family.
